As the judges sifted through the talent, they have begun to bicker a little bit more, with former ‘American Idol‘ cohorts Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul going head to head and even pulling a contestant into the middle of their bickering.

The judges were starting to lose faith in Florida, as the Miami auditions produced more freaks than viable candidates. The scene moved to Dallas, for more homegrown talent, but plenty of freaks also surfaced there. This episode focused a little more on the weirdos. Perhaps the weirdest thing to happen? Judge Nicole Scherzinger adopting a southern accent while in Texas, saying “y’all” repeatedly. When in Texas, do as the Texans do.

The single most shocking moment of the two hours? When Geo Godley, 43, dropped trou, sending Paula Abdul running for the rest room. Ick. Obviously he didn’t advance! One tone deaf contestant — you won’t remember her in a week, we can’t less than 12 hours later, which should tell you something about her “talents”– even got into a shouting match with Simon Cowell!

Ashley Sansone on X Factor

Read my post on Ashley Sansone on ‘X Factor.’

Sansone took off her shoes and performed, not before calling herself a “pop tart” and saying that she would even sing songs about gummy bears. She was a hot mess, and we can’t believe that the producers gave her more than 30 seconds of air time with her ranting.

Nick Voss on X Factor

Read my post about Nick Voss on X Factor.

He sang ‘Trouble’ by Elvis Presley, and while his voice was not the strongest, he was a mobile, solid entertainer who could sing and dance and at the heart of it, this show is about entertainers. He was the first hopeful to excite the judges at the Miami auditions.

Melanie Amaro on X Factor

The college freshman, who is all of 18-years-old, was not flashy, nor was she ultra glam. But the girl could sing her butt off, and that’s just what she did. No frills. No tricks. She delivered a showstopping performance and got a standing ovation from the judges’ table. So yes, she’s moving on in the competition for a cool $5 million.

Siameze Floyd on X Factor

Read my post on Siameze Floyd on ‘X Factor.’

With his blown out, fabulous locks that are reminiscent of comedian Kat Williams, his skintight jeans, fitted coat and his small stature, Siameze performed with so much unbridled energy that it was like he down a crate of energy drinks before he took the stage. Actually, he doesn’t need an energy drink. He should just bottle whatever courses through his veins, since it’s limitless and has the same effect.

Katy Perry on InStyle Magazine

Katy Perry is on the cover of this months InStyle magazine.

Perry is celebrating those famous curves in a black lace Emanuel Ungaro dress that covers her in all the right places yet still maintains that aura of patented Perry sexiness. The thick black belt is Louis Vuitton, and both that and the shiny silver cuff are doing it for us, accessories-wise.

Tiesto Interview

I interviewed Dutch DJ/Producer Tiësto about his favorite club, the ‘Club Life College Invasion Tour,’ and seeing Iron Maiden. On the subject of metal, Tiësto said,

I grew up on heavy metal, but I have not listened to it in a while. When I was 16, I got into it. I was a huge Iron Maiden fan. I had all of their albums. I am not too much into Slayer, but Iron Maiden, Ronnie James Dio, Whitesnake. That’s what I am into.
