Interview with Mark Morton of Lamb of God

I spoke with Mark Morton from Lamb of God, about hitting #2 on the Billboard charts with the release of ‘Wrath,’ which came out February 24, 2009. Said Morton,

“More than any commercial number, ‘landmark’ or being number two, we’re most excited about the fact that we love this record and had a lot of fun making it. So this big chart debut and all that? It added to our excitement about the record, knowing that it’s reached a lot of people and that they’re reacting positively and connecting to music we felt so close to.”

Nicolas Cage Interview

I interviewed Nicolas Cage about his latest movie, ‘Knowing.’ Says Cage,

“I had memories of life with my own son, and the script came to me at the right time. I had the life experience and emotional resources to play John Koestler. Some of the lines came out of direct memories of my times with Weston. I had been looking for a way to express those feelings for a long time, having been a single father.”

Interview with Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio

I spoke with Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio about their upcoming movie, ‘Revolutionary Road.’ Said Winselt, about working with Leonardo,

“He’s a better actor than he was, if that’s possible. I loved playing some of the difficult scenes, knowing the trust we have. There were no boundaries. It was a real gift to do off-camera dialogue for him and to have to stop myself from crying, seeing someone for whom I have so much respect doing things as an actor that I have never seen him do before.”

Robin Thicke Interview

Read my interview with singer Robin Thicke.

You’re very much of the blue-eyed soul musical style. How do you feel about the Marvin Gaye comparisons?

I have blue eyes, and I am soulful. Even if I couldn’t sing, though, I’d still be a soulful person since I’m compassionate and sensitive to things that come towards me or to other people. You have to be that way in order to be a soul singer. You have to have this sense of romance, impression and struggle.

You don’t need to be backstage at a fashion show to use a great brush. It’s accessible. Don’t be intimidated by brushes. A 26-piece brush set isn’t what this is about! If someone has 5 minutes, there are 5-7 steps and only a few brushes and they can customize for what they use.
