Sean Yseult Interview

I interviewed former White Zombie bassist Sean Yseult for Noisecreep, and we spoke about the time Al Jourensen almost killed her. Said Yseult,

“We were with Gibby from Butthole Surfers, and it was after a late night at The Viper Room. Johnny (Depp) had a home up in the hills and we were there, and Al backed up too fast in his hot rod, and we were teetering over a cliff. Every day was an adventure!”

Kirk Windstein Interview

Read my interview with Crowbar’s Kirk Windstein about turning sober. Says Windstein,

Cradle of Filth Frontman Reveals His Favorite Horror Stories

Here’s my interview with Cradle of Filth vocalist Dani Filth. Said Filth,

“Underneath, they are all fairy tales and they are all metaphors for sex and death. Look at the story of Hansel and Gretel. The witch forces the little boy naked into a fire to roast him alive? It’s sick, really. These are not children-friendly stories. They are sanitized and passed down orally.”

Buckcherry’s Josh Todd Interview

Here’s my interview with Buckcherry singer Josh Todd. Said Todd,

“We came back from obscurity and no one cared, and we made the record of our career. We are on the third record since then, and it has been such a crazy ride. And we’re grateful. We’ve been on both sides of the pendulum and have experienced the peaks and valleys, but we’re staying with our foot on the gas, making sure it doesn’t get away from us. We know what it’s like to not have it.”

Kerry King Interview

I interviewed Slayer’s Kerry King about their upcoming release, ‘The Vinyl Conflict.”

King said the initial naming process of ‘The Vinyl Conflict’ was generic and record label generated, like ‘Vinyl Series of Slayer Recordings,’ which King and company promptly nixed. “This isn’t the Eagles man,” King said with a laugh. “We have to have something cool. Everyone busted my balls, so I said, ‘Give me a second, and I can come up with something.'”

Zakk Wylde Talks Baseball

I interviewed Zakk Wylde about his beloved NY Yankees. Said Wylde,

It’s the usual cast of characters with the Yankees and the Red Sox, but you’ve also got Tampa Bay creeping in there,” he reasoned. “They are so good and have such a young team that they can be a real threat.”
